I purchased the Freemake Mega Pack following a trial period, this week. During the trial period I noticed that burned files were out of sync but managed to lock audio and video tracks on an NCH trial program, save then burn using Freemake. I don’t want to have to buy another program when I shouldn’t have to, and the trial period for the program I was using to lock tracks has expired. The video and audio are out of sync anywhere from noticeable to unwatchable (say 0.5 second video lag). Please explain to me the steps I should take to ensure that video and audio tracks are locked using Freemake so I can enjoy watching my burned DVD-Rs with perfectly synced audio and video. The files I have been burning are from a variety of sources, mostly purchased from legitimate vendors, and are mainly (not exclusively) MP4s.

It seems like the user is experiencing issues with audio and video being out of sync when burning MP4 files using Freemake Video Converter. To ensure that the video and audio tracks are locked and synced properly, try converting the files to a different format before burning them. You can also try adjusting the settings in Freemake Video Converter to see if that helps resolve the issue. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Freemake's customer support for further assistance.
Even when I check that subtitles are switched on before copying the url ino Freemake, they do not appear in the finished MP4 file.

It is currently not possible to copy subtitles from Opera videos on YouTube using Freemake Video Converter. This issue may be due to compatibility or technical limitations.
When I try to convert MP4 H264 (16:9) to WMV, Freemake Video Converter just stops and displays the message: "Please make sure the files are not corrupted". How to fix this?

Several other users reported the same problem that you've encountered. It depends of the location of the source file. If the source file is on your local machine, then it is possible that you have previously installed some other codec packs and you are liable to load conflicting codecs or possibly even malware, and for these resasons you should avoid loading them at all. Make sure you have installed the .NET Framework 4, and that you have the latest version of Freemake Video Converter. If this doesn't help you, try converting the MP4 file to AVI and then the resulted AVI file to WMV.
If the file is hosted on the Internet, then you should use the Paste URL button located in the top-right section of the program's window instead of downloading it and trying to convert it. If you get the same result, you should check your Internet connection, because conversion failure has been reported due to unstable Internet connection.
If none of this helps, you might want to do a System Restore back to when your system was stable.
My subtitles are getting too large when I merge them to a video. How can I change the letters size? I have version 4.1.2.1 and payed for the subtitle package.

If you have purchased the subtitle package for this product, you can make some modification to the subtitle before the conversion starts. To do that, just start the program, press on the video tab, add your movie, add the subtitle and press the settings button that looks like a scissor next to a play icon. A new window should open and you can find the available option for subtitles in the bottom right side of the screen.
Unfortunately, this kind of problem can be caused by several problems like: a failed update, or a missing file, etc. Therefore, I recommend properly reinstalling the app. First you need to uninstall it (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) then download it again through Software Informer application's page or through its official webpage (this is the safest way to know for sure you download the latest version). After the download is completed, open the setup file and start the installation process again.
Freemake Video Converter doesn't have this feature. It can only merge .mp3 files together or convert different video formats to .mp3. In order to cut your files, I suggest you use an application from the Software Informer database.
Freemake Video Converter has the option to burn DVDs, but not CDs. The procedure is as follows:
Open the application.
Select the video you want to burn to DVD using the blue +Video button located in the top left section of the application's window.
Go to the bottom section of the window and navigate through conversion modes until you reach the to DVD button and then click it.
A new window will open where the software will automatically select DVD burning settings. Optionally, you can add subtitles, select DVD menu type, adjust aspect ratio manually, etc.
Insert a DVD disk and click Burn to burn the DVD movie. Alternatively, you can create ISO to back up your DVD.
The pan feature is not available in Freemake Video Converter. The crop feature can be used automatically and it is available only for Gold Pack owners. If you want to install the Gold Pack, you should already have installed Freemake Video Converter. If you don't have it you can download it by clicking the link:
After the installation finishes you can get the Gold Pack by selecting Help -> Get Gold Pack from the top menu. Add a video where you'd like to remove black bars (crop). The software will ask you if you'd like to auto-crop black bars from the file. Choose Delete black bars. If you chose Keep black bars by mistake or closed this form, go to Options ->Black bars and change your choice. Black bars will be removed automatically, or the movie will be cropped as you selected. If you want to save the changes you should convert the video. Choose a format, then preset Same as source, and hit Convert.
Yes, the application can work with audio files. In fact, it supports a wide range of these files. As you can see in the image below, it supports popular files like MPG, AAC, OGG, WMA, WAV, FLAC, M4A, and AMR.
